In the movie, “The Polar Express,” those lucky enough to still hear the bell ring on Christmas Eve still have the magic of Christmas in their hearts. Even with a few hard losses and hearing the same old “trust the process,” and “maybe next year,” many of us are not ready to jump off the wagon yet. The season is young and devoted fans still hear the bell and still Billieve.
There is no doubt the Buffalo Bills are struggling. After a recent Sunday night loss, people called to fire Ken Dorsey, mid-season. Was this the right move? Frustrations are high, but there are plenty of frustrations in day-to-day life and is the best choice to jump ship and start from scratch? No!
The reality is, some big adjustments need to be made. Now or never, our team must step up. Our team has found the way before; our team adjusts and works harder when faced with adversity. We should remember how much we loved and supported our team the day after the Damar Hamlin incident. How the whole nation became Bills fans. That love and support for our team is what drives many of them. Josh Allen once said, “If you didn’t want to believe in me, that’s OK, because I’ll make a believer out of you.” With about half a season left, don’t jump ship yet, Bills magic is in the air.
