Photos: Menorah ceremony brings light to Niagara Square
State Sen. Tim Kennedy, D-Buffalo, joined with Chabad of Buffalo Rabbi Moshe Gurary, Buffalo Council Member Joseph Golombek and Buffalo Deputy Mayors Callie Johnson and Rashied McDuffie to light the Hanukkah menorah at Niagara Square in front of Buffalo City Hall Monday night, as a crowd of about 50 gathered in chilly temperatures to celebrate on the fifth night of the Jewish holiday with song, dance and food such as potato pancakes and doughnuts.
