Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes, and the Dallas Cowboys extended their home winning streak to 14 games by rallying for a 41-35 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Prescott's 12-yard pass to Jake Ferguson put Dallas in front with 4 1/2 minutes. The Cowboys set up a rematch with NFC East rival Philadelphia by escaping what would have been their first loss since falling to the Eagles 28-23 to start November. Geno Smith threw three touchdown passes to D.K. Metcalf, including a 73-yarder, as the Seahawks got their offense going again. But Seattle couldn't avoid a third consecutive loss to drop to .500.

The NFC goes through Philadelphia. The top three challengers showed where they stand on Thanksgiving. Detroit took a step backward. Dallas feasted on another losing team. San Francisco was impressive again. The Eagles have a firm grip on the No. 1 seed, but the race could tighten down the stretch. The 49ers geared up for a NFC championship rematch against Philadelphia on Dec. 3 with a convincing 31-13 win at Seattle on Thursday night. The Cowboys rocked the Commanders 45-10 for their seventh win by at least 23 points. The Lions were outplayed from start to finish in a 29-22 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Dallas Cowboys right guard Zack Martin says the "real football" starts on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys are on a 12-game home winning streak going into their 11th meeting with Washington on the holiday. The Commanders are by far the most common Thanksgiving opponent for the Cowboys. Miami is next with five. Dallas is going for a third consecutive victory over a double-digit underdog Thursday before the schedule gets tougher. The Commanders just committed six turnovers in a loss to the New York Giants. The 31-19 defeat at home has fueled speculation about coach Ron Rivera's future.

Dallas dominated. Detroit and Denver rallied. Jacksonville and Buffalo rebounded. San Francisco cruised. There were few surprise results Sunday as 10 of the 12 favorites won. They got there in different ways. Add Miami, Cleveland, Houston and the Los Angeles Rams to the list of winners. Only Green Bay and the New York Giants pulled off upsets, slight ones considering their opponents. The Cowboys clobbering the lowly Carolina Panthers 33-10 was the most predictable outcome. Every team wants to play important games. There's no telling what'll happen when they get there.

Detroit coach Dan Campbell took fourth-down aggressiveness to a new level last week. His biggest decision came when the Lions faced a fourth-and-2 from the Chargers 26 with 1:47 remaining in a tie game. Instead of opting for the field goal that would have given Detroit the lead but Justin Herbert plenty of time to drive for a tying or go-ahead score, Campbell went for it and was rewarded when Jared Goff completed a 6-yard pass to Sam LaPorta. Detroit then ran down the clock and won the game on a field goal on the final play.

Dak Prescott threw for 272 yards and a touchdown, and the Dallas Cowboys rebounded from a rout a week ago, beating the Los Angeles Chargers 20-17 Monday night. Prescott completed 21 of 30 passes and also had a rushing TD. He connected with Brandin Cooks for a 2-yard score with 11:19 remaining in the game to give the Cowboys a 17-10 lead. Los Angeles tied it at 17 with 7:11 remaining when Gerald Everett caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Justin Herbert. After Brandon Aubrey gave the Cowboys a 20-17 lead with a 39-yard field goal, the Chargers had one last chance to send it into overtime. But Stephon Gilmore picked off Herbert at the LA 33-yard line with 1:22 remaining to seal the victory.

DeMarcus Ware's celebration going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be part Dallas and part Denver. That's because Ware set a storied franchise's career record with 117 sacks with the Cowboys before winning a Super Bowl with the Broncos. The former Troy player was a salary cap casualty in 2013 after nine seasons in Dallas. Ware credits Von Miller for sparking a rebirth during his time in Denver. They combined for 4½ sacks in a Super Bowl 50 victory over Cam Newton and Carolina. Ware was a four-time All-Pro with a 20-sack season in Dallas before getting the last two of nine Pro Bowl nods in three years with the Broncos.
